Film Screening: BLU (Pop Up Kino Video Art Festival #4)

17th of January, 2015: Screening of the film BLU! We have the joy to host the 4th Edition of the International Video Art Festival Pop Up Kino and to screen this amazing video art.

About the film BLU: Blue is the color of the clear sky and the deep sea. It is located between violet and green on the optical spectrum. Blue is the color most commonly associated with harmony, faithfulness, confidence, distance, infinity, the imagination, cold, and sometimes with sadness. It is overwhelmingly the most popular color, chosen by almost half of both men and women as their favorite color.

The festival International Video Art Festival Pop Up Kino, organized by GrundKreuz, takes place every 2 months in Berlin and simultaneously in another city of the world. For this edition, as well as in the Kleiner Salon, the films will be shown in the Espacio Cultural DINAMO In Buenos Aires, Argentina. The team of this space has curated also the selection of video art pieces, choosing the best ones from the submitted works to the open call. We will view as well a selection of videos from the video art platform elmur.net curated from Ana Sanfrutos, the pieces of the invited artist of this edition: Sofía Roncero, Francesca Amati and Mario Gutiérrez Cru and of course the most voted video from Pop Up Kino #3 by artist Jep Brengaret.

After the viewing, the public will have the chance to vote for their favorite video. Votes will sum up with the votes in Buenos Aires to call a winner.
